General Standard Protocol for New Normal for Hotels, Villas, Lodges, and Similar Establishments
Managers, employees, guests/tourists, and third parties/suppliers are required:
- Wearing masks or face shields. For cloth masks, the recommendation is a 3-layer cloth mask.
- Wash your hands with hand sanitizer, or with soap and running water.
- Maintain a distance of at least 1 meter when interacting and sitting.
- Implementing Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS).
- Cover your mouth and nose with a handkerchief or tissue when coughing and sneezing.
- Avoid touching the face area (eyes, nose, and mouth) directly with hands.
- Measure body temperature regularly. Employees are also required to measure guests' body temperature using a thermo scanner or thermo gun, and ensure that the guest's body temperature is below 37.3 degrees Celsius – if a temperature above the limit is detected after two checks with an interval/jar of 5 minutes, the guest is prohibited from entering the accommodation area.
- Take a shower and change clothes immediately upon arriving home.
- Regularly clean personal belongings as needed with disinfectant.
- Ready to be examined by health officers as a preventive measure against the spread of COVID-19.
- Avoid physical contact when greeting.
