This museum building is the oldest building in Bali. Although it was established in 1910, the museum building was officially and completely constructed in 1931.

The strategic location is one of the reasons this museum continues to be crowded with visitors. Bali Museum houses ethnographic collection objects with a very strong Balinese culture inside. The collection size owned by the museum is 10,506. The stored collection items have different histories and functions. With a high educational value of Bali's cultural development history, this museum is very suitable to visit during school study tours or short vacations with children.

Tirta Gangga Karang Asem

Tirta Gangga

The next historical site is Tirta Gangga. This tourist attraction has been built since 1948. Built by the last king of Karangasem, this garden was created to be a resting place for the royal family. Basically, Tirta Gangga itself is an water park area that emphasizes the beauty of water scenery in the tourist area. However, recently, the view of the surrounding area filled with rice fields and terracing has enhanced the beauty of Tirta Gangga Park. Access to the Tirta Gangga tourist area is quite easy. Tourists only need to drive 5 km towards Karangasem from downtown Denpasar.

Soekarno Center

The Soekarno Center

The Soekarno Center is located on Pejeng Kaja Street, Tampak Siring, Gianyar. The location of The Soekarno Center is not too far from the Presidential Palace in Tampak Siring. Bali Shell Museum

Bali Shell Museum

Vacationing in Bali doesn't always have to involve visiting beaches and the sea; you can try something new by visiting a museum. One of the quite unique museums in Bali is the Bali Shell Museum.

If you enjoy playing with shells on the beach, you can visit the first shell museum in Indonesia. Bali Shell Museum is a shell museum established since 2009. Not only being the first, Bali Shell Museum is the only shell museum in Indonesia. This museum is located on Sunset Road in Kuta and has an area of approximately 1500 square meters. If you are from Denpasar, it takes 15 minutes by car to reach this museum.

With a building consisting of 3 floors, this museum houses approximately 10,000 various types of shells and also fossils from different parts of the world. The fossils are certainly hundreds of years old. In your museum, you will also find a gallery containing various shell accessories.

Penglipuran Village

The next must-visit unique tourist destination is Penglipuran Village. This village is located within Bengli Regency, Central Bali. The uniqueness of Penglipuran Village lies in the community’s ability to preserve a culture that has existed for hundreds of years until now. If you visit this village, you will see that almost all the houses on the right and left sides of the road are the same. The Penglipuran Village community is indeed consistent in preserving cultural heritage by continuously using traditional Balinese architecture as the design for their houses.

The village road arrangement is very neat. Each house has a garden in the front yard area. Quite interestingly, you will see angkul-angkul (house doors) facing each other directly between one house and another. The shape of the door they have is the same. If you want to experience the traditional atmosphere unique to Bali that has existed for hundreds of years, you can visit Penglipuran Village.
